Captain Planet Was Not A Carvakan Captain Planet is Not a Carvakan The Upanisads, which are the conclusion and perhaps most integral part of the Veda, are the major backbone for a large part of Indian philosophy. The word Upanisads comes from the way that they were originally taught to the followers of the Veda; that is, people would gather around a teacher, sitting and learn.
