Abortion This topic has always been a concern between the people and the government. There are approximately 1.6 million abortions. The definition of abortion is “Induced termination of pregnancy and expulsion of an embryo or fetus that is incapable of survival.” My view on this topic is that people should have a choice yet be fully aware and educated as to what they choose and how that choice resulted. Abortion in more simple terms is that if a woman has a baby in her stomach, and she does not want to have the baby, she can go through abortion or choose to have the child and/or put the baby up for adoption. One of the main reasons a woman chooses to have an abortion is because they can not handle the responsibility and/or they can not afford it. There are three stages in a woman’s pregnancy. The first stage is when the baby is still a small egg growing. The second stage is when feet, hands and a heart begin to develop. The third stage is when it is actually living off of your body as another human being.
