Music Changed My Life Music changed my life There was a time in my life when I paid little attention to music. This time is known as childhood. I was too busy with my Ninja Turtles and G.I. Joes to even think about music. That’s not to say I didn’t listen to it, though. Despite the hideous music we now so affectionately call “the 80’s” that was playing on the radio stations when a was a child, I still listened. I started paying attention when I was nine years old, and that is when my affliction with music all started. To gain a better understanding of how music has changed my life over the years, we must start from the beginning of my musical learning timeline. When I was nine years old, my mother paid for piano lessons from my neighbor, and I started learning songs right away. I started with the usual beginner’s songs – Mary Had a Little Lamb, Yankee Doodle, and etc. I practiced every day, even though most times I didn’t want to do so. I took piano lessons for about a year and ended up getting through one book, and then baseball music, started, playing, time, guitar, life, years, played, lessons, trumpet, strings, songs, picked, learning, instrument, bass, school, pretty, play, piano, over, out, now, musical, mind, just, didn’t, better, band, am, about, through, tests, taking, say
