Brian is the one out of the five who had the largest personal struggle to overcome. He was born with a heart mummer that was not discovered until he fell playing one day at the age of five. His mother worried that maybe he had a concussion, so she rushed him to the hospital. There they discovered a staph infection that had entered his body through a scrape on his knee from two weeks earlier.
