Definition Paper On The Word “band“ “A group of musicians organized for playing together.” This is how Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines band, but I have my own description. It’s a group of unique students who are all friends. All of us get along without fighting, and without name calling. There is no dictator in the band; we are all equal to one another. The band directors are like our parents, always looking out for us and making sure we’re taken care of. With our band the word “musician” should be used loosely. We try our hardest to be musicians but sometimes the social aspect of band gets in the way.
