Classification Of Music CLASSIFICATION OF MUSIC Music has always been a part of every culture, big or small. It has been there from the beginning of time. It has become a part of people, and who they are. Some music represents people, and other music expresses people. Either way, music is around and keeps on growing. Growing to new ideas and feelings that capture its listeners. I've noticed that my generation judges and categorizes its peers by the music that they listen to. With all the different types of music today it’s kind of hard not to judge people based on the music they listen to. Even parents look at their kids a certain way if they don’t approve on what is going into their CD players at home. They seem to think that the kids are dressing a certain way or talking a certain way because the music is sending the wrong messages. One kind of music that parents don't mind their kids listening is ska. Ska has always been a fun expressive and non-violent type of music. "Happy circus music" is one name that I've heard it being called. It's the local music, kids, type, people, parents, one, because, out, listen, different, way, types, punk, wrong, ska, loud, just, going, even, certain, been, world, while, ways, trying, think, straightedge, small, shows, show, person, part, over, mind, lyrics
