American Inventors Do you know that there are hundreds of thousands of African-American Inventors' Today I will be writing about three African-American Inventors who invented such things as the Automatic Lubricator for Steam-Engines (Real McCoy), Synchronous Multiplex Railway Telegraph, Gas Mask, and Traffic signal: Elijah McCoy, Granville T. Woods, and Garrett A. Morgan. Garrett A. Morgan; the inventor, is most famous for inventing the Gas Mask and Traffic Signal. He was born in Paris, Kentucky in 1877. He received over fifty patents for his inventions. The Gas Mask was mass produce for World War one, it save thousand of American lives. That thing that everyone dislikes, Traffic Signals saves billions of lives every year.
