Magnetic Resonance Imaging A few years ago during my senior year of high school, I was participating in one of the final basketball games of my high school career when I landed wrong on my knee. Immediately, I felt the worst pain of my life and I knew something was not right at all. I was taken to the hospital where our trainer and my family doctor began to bend and pull on my knee. This is standard procedure to get an idea of what may be wrong. After that the doctors took me to the x-ray room where they took pictures of my knee. After they were done evaluating my knee, they came to the conclusion that I probably had just sprained my knee and that I would be able to play in the last games. To be safe my dad took me to a sports doctor to see if they could get a better idea of what was wrong with my knee. These sports doctors recommended that I get an MRI done on my knee, so I did.
