The Right to Live or Die
Euthanasia means the choice to help a person die. Euthanasia can be done with the aid of medication, or by withholding means of life support in order that this persons life will end sooner than dying of a natural death. Sometimes a person is suffering such pain that it seems to be almost cruel for this person to go on living such an agonizing life. Besides suffering from pain, one can be deformed in such a way that they could never live a normal life. In instances like these the decision is sometimes made to help them to stop the suffering.
It has been argued that the person who is suffering should have the choice as to whether he wants to go on living or the choice to end his suffering by choosing to commit suicide. A family member sometimes has to make the choice for this person, because the person is not of sound mind to make such a decision. In some cases the decision
