Should Abortion Remain Legal Should abortion remain legal' This kind of question is a very big controversy among people in the U.S. Many believe that abortion should remain legal; however, I believe that abortion should not be legal. I feel this way for many reasons such as responsibility for your own actions, religious reasons, and many problems resulting in abortion clinics. One reason I feel that abortion should not remain legal is if someone is responsible enough to be having intercourse, then they should be responsible enough to deal with what consequences have resulted from their actions. For instance if a sixteen-year-old is sexually active and becomes pregnant she should take the consequences. If they think they are old enough, mature enough, and financially able, then by all means go ahead. Another reason I feel that abortion should not be legal is religious beliefs that I have grown up believing.
