Smoking Should Smokers be allowed to Sue the Tobacco Industries' Today many people are experiencing the consequences of using tobacco products. They are getting mouth cancer, lung cancer, and they are even having heart problems. These people feel as if they are the victims. Some even think that they should be allowed to sue the tobacco industries for producing the harmful products that have caused them to become ill. When actually it is not the tobacco industries fault. It is the smokers fault because they knew of the consequences and made the choice to smoke. The smoker can not say that they did not know of the consequences of smoking. The warning are everywhere. They are posted on the cigarette packages and there are TV commercials that talk about the harmful effects. For instance, there is the commercial where a father is talking to his son about the harmful effects of smoking. He talks about getting cancer, having heart problems, and even how it can cause you to lose you voice. Smokers can not use the excuse that they did not know of the harmful effects because they are everywhere.
