Freedom Of Tought On October 12, 2002, my girlfriend Kristin and I went to see a band called Ekoostik Hookah. Neither of us had had the chance to see this group perform live, but were avid listeners, so as you might imagine this was quite a happy experience for the both of us. We started the day out by waking up around six in the morning of this great event to pack our tent and provisions that we had already prepared, because after the show everyone camped out. Getting everything together was quite an experience since neither of us had been camping in a really long time, so we didn’t really remember what was vital to take on a camping adventure. But after awhile we gathered everything that we thought necessary and started truckin’ down the road. We arrived at Frontier Ranch about an hour before noon, and began setting up our tent. Frontier Ranch is the name of the land that Ekoostik Hookah shows are normally played at. There were “long haired freaky people” all over the place.
