Korea And Vietnam Essay Korea and Vietnam essay Some people say Vietnam and Korean War was a bad thing for America, but I disagree to some extent. I disagree because if we did not learn how to take charge and surprise our enemy, then how would we be handling the present situation in Afghanistan. The two wars have changed our life because now we know how to hide, trap, surprise our enemy, and we know tactics to be successful over our enemy. I understand that we lost many lives in the Vietnam and Korean wars, but we also saved a lot. We saved many lives because we learned how to be smart as defenders of a belief. For example, we might have sent swarms of troops into Afghanistan to get Osama Bin Laden and lost life’s if we did not learn how to control the enemy and take charge from our past experience. The Vietnam and Korean War has changed our life because throughout the lectures in class I learned that since then we are more cautious about getting involved in a war.
