All the new technology possessed in the Vietnam War proved that wars of the future would be more dangerous than ever thought of before. There were many types of weaponry used in the Vietnam War. There were Automatic weapons, then there were vehicles, and last there were bombs, and grenades. There were all sorts of miscellaneous weapons in this war. In the Vietnam War, some of the most widely used weapons were the automatic weapons. Americans had varied types of weapons, compared to the VC. Americans had weapons like the M203 (m79), which had a range of 400meters and shot at a rate of 60rpm (Austrian Involvement, n-pag.). The m16A1, which had a built in grenade launcher. This made it more convenient for the soldiers.
