Joan Of Arc Joan of Arc Joan of Arc will be remembered not for her creativity but for being One of the greatest leaders ever not to mention she was also a girl. Joan was brought up in France. She was the 3rd of 5 children. Her parents Jacques Darc and Isabelle de Vouthon were farmers. In her hometown of Domremy her and her parents were always being caught between English and French forces causing her family to move in and out of there town. When Joan was 13 she started to hear voices in her head. At first these voices told her to pray and go to church more. After a year or two the voices told her something different. They said she must help get the Dauphin, who was the future king of France be crowned.
