Impact Of The Journalists And Progressives Throughout The Progressive Reform Journalists and women each distinctively played an imperative part in the progressive reform movements. Progressives were those who had left their Republican Party and joined the new party introduced under Theodore Roosevelt, the Progressive Party. The Progressive Party had a mission in which their priority was to bring an end to the ever increasing corruption occurring among politicians.
