History In the late-eighteenth and nineteenth century many new revolutionary ideas emerged with a great impact on lives of individuals. Not all of the revolutionary changes were good. As the industrial revolution was underway, it brought changes that were not looked at as a good idea to some people. Women were being overrun and machines were stealing the work of men. As technology came, jobs were being vanished. Militaries were so powerful, they could afford to lose thousands of people at one time. These changes in the world brought forth the “Age of Revolution,” in which we still live in today with technology growing ever so rapidly. Cartoonist in the late-eighteenth century, mock the social structure in France. The cartoons showed the vast majority of the population, supporting the aristocracy, the church, and the nobility of the robe. The aristocrat is claiming feudal rights, the bishop shows the church being associated with religious persecution and clerical privileges, and the noble of the robe lists the rights of the noble-dominated parlements. The church and nobility were not greater than the peasants. The lower class was not going to put up with these upper classes.
