Chaos My family has passed down a very special heirloom from generation to generation since the end of the 11th century. In the year 1078, my great, great, great, great, and so on, grandfather was accidentally encased in ice, perfectly preserving his body. His name has been forgotten but we lovingly call him James the Iced, for obvious reasons. The how and the why of my ancient grand father’s unfortunate accident has also been lost in the passing of hundreds of years, but one aspect of his legend has not been forgotten. It was said, when he was first entombed, that one day a decedent of his would bring him back to life. So from that day on he has been kept frozen in the hopes that he would be resurrected by a future generation. When James was handed down to my father, he got the idea in his head that he would be the one to bring him back to life. After many years of trying to develop a safe way to de-thaw him without killing him, my father finally found a way to bring him back.
