Not knowing who you are and scarcely knowing where you are, to be a slave and to be nothing as long as you shall live is a punishment worse than death. What evils ravaged the minds of Europeans, was it environment, survival, religion, or upbringing that plagued the European mind. How was this institution of slavery created, and what were the roles of slaves in the formation of America. Colonial America, wild and deadly, a land entirely to pristine and vast for any European eyes to gaze upon, nothing but death and disease followed the European conquests throughout the world. The trials of time have brought evidence of European horror, from religious wars and persecutions of ethnic cleansing to mindless killings and mass destruction.
