DANIEL HALE WILLIAMS DANIEL HALE WILLIAMS Introduction: This report is on the life of a renown black Doctor by the name of Daniel Hale Williams. He was very instrumental in the medical industry. I will attempt to inform you of his accomplishments as well as his concerns for his patients. Dr. Daniel Hale Williams Dr. Daniel Hale Williams was born on January 18, 1856 in Hollidayspurg, Pennsylvania, and died on August 4, 1931. When he was nine years old, his father died of Tuberculosis. His mother Sarah Price Williams moved the family to Baltimore to live with relatives. Daniel spent three years in an apprenticeship with a shoemaker in Baltimore.
