However, many people are suffering from cancer because of cigarette smoking and second hand smoke. The government should ban the cigarette now because it contains hazardous chemicals, can cause different diseases, stress, birth defects, and accidents. Cigarette smoking helps people to relax. According to the website www.apa.org, they found that 80% of the smokers agreed with statements indicating that cigarette smoking was relaxing. This was also true based on my experienced with my friends. My friends always smoke all the time and the reason that they always tell me is because it makes them calmed and relaxed. My friends would also smoke a lot before they take a test or before they present a speech. Their reason was it helps them lose their anxiety and nervousness.
