It often goes unnoticed that most alcoholics aren’t even of legal age to drink. Teenagers need to realize drinking can only cause or add to the problems one already has. Teenagers also need to realize these problems not only affect them but everyone around them. Alcohol is a beverage drug that many teens abuse today. “Alcoholism is a chronic disease, progressive and often fatal; it is a primary disorder and not a symptom of other diseases or emotional problems”(Torr 19).
