Gun Control The issue of gun control has been around since man has been in the new world. With the fighting of the Civil War and the fight for our independence it was customary for the people to have firearms to protect themselves and for hunting, etc. Today organizations are trying to take away that freedom by outlawing the possession of firearms. Instead of outlawing the possession of firearms I believe that there should restrictions but people are owed the right of the freedoms, so the issue of Gun Control has been in the Supreme Court now for years and they are still asking, should guns be outlawed or have restrictions' This issue of guns has always been compelling to me. I was raised with my grandfather being a police officer to respect and handle guns with care. I was always taught that a person who is a citizen of the United States has the right to their freedoms, and the right to bear arms is one of those freedoms. Guns should be legal to own if so desired, but by the right people. If a gun is purchased there should be a background check to guns, should, out, gun, right, people, firearms, find, been, person, own, issue, illegal, freedoms, control, take, states, safety, restrictions, possession, outlawing, look, feel, being, away, always, about, years, world, wishes, way, war, untied, united, trying
