Gun Control Essay
A group of men once decided a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed. This is the second amendment to the constitution of the United States, part of the bill of rights. The problem is that nobody really takes the time to break this down to look at the root of the second amendment and realize that we are now in the year 2002 quickly approaching 2003. We no longer need a militia to keep a free state secure. We have the armed forces which consist of the military, marines and air force so at one time a militia was necessary but now we have organized a trained and skilled group of people to take care of these problems if they arise. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed has anyone ever thought what if the people trying not to have their rights infringed takes the innocent life of a three year old or finds that their trusty handgun which keeps them so safe has infringed the life span of eight school children because
