United Nation (Regents Essay) The United Nations is an international organization that plays major role in the stability of the United States. The United Nations help to establish domestic and international relations as well as working to protect human rights in several countries all over the world, and the United States is one of them. The United States, in fact, is actually the home of the United Nations. Many Americans often think of the role the United Nations takes in remote areas of the world such as peacekeeping and healthcare when they hear of its name, but they do not realize how it also holds a crucial part in their everyday lives.
