GUN CONTROL Is Gun Control Good' The second amendment of the United States Bill of Rights says, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” (Bill of Rights) Lately it seems every politician and their mothers have made arguments that gun control is a necessary thing. Gun control is a touchy issue with most Americans, either you are for it or against it, there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. Groups like the national rifle association (NRA) are fighting for our right to bear arms everyday while many political figures and conservatives are opposed to guns. Lets look at both sides of the issue and see which side of the issue you are on. It could be argued that the second amendment is obsolete now, where as when the constitution was written this amendment made more since. People of all caliber’s carried guns 200 years ago, from the lowly bartender to the president.
