Declaration Of Independence: Declaration of Independence: Before and After Although there were many changes to the Declaration of Independence after it was originally written, I believe that a few of the changes stand out more than others. Those changes, which I have chosen, I will voice my opinions on whether or not it should have been changed. The first change that I would like to discuss is paragraph nine of the declaration of independence where a large portion what was written there was added to the rough draft. The part that was added in was, “ He has called together legislative bodies at a place unusually uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measure.” I believe that if I were the review board I would have added this in. I would have put in this piece because I feel it emphasizes how the king tried managed to get his way with the colonies. He did this by giving the representatives of the colonies an uncomfortable spot to meet and discuss the issues that the King would get his way on. I believe that they, Great Britain, should know what they have paragraph, independence, declaration, great, britain, believe, added, united, states, changes, america, way, should, good, fact, because, written, world, whole, uncomfortable, revision, review, representatives, place, out, need, made, king, just, friends, first, few, feel, discuss, colonies
