Legalize - Don’t you agree that a individual should be entitled to make his/her own decisions. Sure some of the decisions we make in our life might effect our health, but you should have the right to do what u want to do, as long as your not harming anyone else. This brings me to my first argument on why I think marijuana should be a legal substance. The first and basic reason why I believe this is because smoking pot is a victimless crime. Sure it might effect your health, but doesn’t alcohol and tobacco do the same, yet both are legal. A 21 year old can go to the bar and get drunk legally, why cant he go to a bar and get high legally' The second important reason that marijuana should be legal is that it would save the government a lot of money. In the united states, all levels of government (Federal, state and local authorities) participate in the “war on drugs”. we currently spend billions of dollars every year to chase peaceful people who happen to like getting high. These people get locked up and taxpayers have to pay marijuana, should, legal, drug, prohibition, high, effect, because, alcohol, reason, pot, people, money, might, government, don’t, year, treatment, taxpayers, sure, schools, programs, problems, pay, obtain, make, legally, instead, important, help, health, go, first, education, easier
