TV Violence The overwhelming amount of T.V. violence today has a huge negative effect on younger viewers. A lot of T.V. shows include some kind of violence in them. This violence has a great impact on people, especially the young. Children are the most affected by what they see on T.V.. Not only are they in a crucial learning stage but they also make up a large part of T.V. viewers. Parents aren’t the only influence on a child’s behavior. Television also has a large impact on it. Unless restricted, television can have a big effect on the way children learn to act. So, if they see violence used on T.V. then they will think that it is okay. If this is the case then children will not know how bad violence really is. The behavior you learn as a child stays a part of you for the rest of your life. If parents let their children watch television then it would be hard for them to prevent their children from seeing violence. Programs containing violence are shown throughout an average day.
