Superheroes Through Time In the last century there have been heroes with extraordinary powers. We now call them superheroes, like Flash Gordon, Superman, and Spiderman. Their movie genre range from, action, fantasy, family, adventure, sci-fi, and the list could go on forever. Each genre can depict the way a hero dresses, how the characters talk and walk, or even the time frame it is in. Science fiction settings are almost likely to be futuristic, with clever gadgets, futuristic weapons, outrageous wardrobes, and even cohabitations with extraterrestrials. Action films do not need to be futuristic or at certain point in time. They just need to have an antagonist and protagonist to create tension. Finally adventures are always around the corner, they seem to always come to a superhero, weather it is leaping from a tall building, or just saving a damsel in distress. The three Flash Gordon Adventures were some of the most complicated films filmed for its time. Not only were they elaborately filmed, but also they entertained audiences throughout the 1930’s, 1940’s, and even to this day.
