After watching the movie “The Last Temptation of Christ,” Christ may be seen in a very different light. This light is a point of view that can bring controversy and inspire much thought and speculation. The story is one that starts off with Jesus who is making crosses for the Romans and he is despised for it, he is using his skill as a carpenter to make crosses for those who crucify his own people. We soon learn that he is plagued with voices as if he is being followed he feels as if he is being watched. He soon finds himself in a town where he comes upon Mary Magdalene a prostitute who Jesus has shared a past with. He resists temptation here, but soon he tells a monk of his imperfections.
