Troy TROY In the epic movie Troy, Achilles plays a courageous warrior who fights relentlessly against the Trojans, defeating every battle and going against the god Apollo. In 1250 B.C., the two princes Paris and his older brother Hector of Troy took an expedition to Sparta, in order to celebrate peace. During the festivities Paris fell in love with Helen of Sparta, both of them decided to flea back to Troy. Once Hector had heard of Helen fleeing Sparta and going back to Troy with Paris, Hector told Paris that this will disrupt the peace between the Spartans and the Trojans. The prediction was true, the Spartans wanted to go to war over the princess being kidnapped by Paris of Troy. The war began with many battles over a few weeks time. After Achilles defeated the Trojan temple killing many priests, Hector and Achilles meet and postpone the fight for another time, knowing that a battle between the two is eventually going to happen. After the bloodshed of Achilles cousin Patroclus, Achilles finally confronts Hector killing him without giving him any last words.
