This Comedy is set in the 1920’s and follows Clooney and his friends throughout Southern Mississippi during the great depression. In the span of five days this film depicts the lives of three escaped convicts from a chain gang. They battle threat of police, liars, thieves, bullies and more all to, which is uncertain to us and Clooney’s friends until the near end of the film, save his marriage. This film just made me feel good inside. I’m tired of today’s gun slinging, supposedly “ACTION PACKED”, love, mystery films. You can only write about the same things so many times before people realize it’s the same thing. I liked the films, color, setting, characters, plot, and overall viewing experience. It seemed to lend it’s self to me as a friend along for the ride. Even the evil characters seemed to have a demeanor about them that didn’t make you want to dislike them or their actions.
