 DIAL M FOR MURDER (1954)
I have seen the movie dial M for murder. The movie was really interesting, because I have never looked at a movie that old and like it except for The sound of music. The movie is an Alfred Hitchcock production. Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) plays the husband, who plots to murder his wife; Margo (Grace Kelly) is a former tennis pro who he married for her money. Mark (Robert Cummings) the American writer, Swan (Anthony Dawson) is the murderer. The marriage appears completely devoid of passion- the films opening shot shows this perfectly, as the camera moves around a completely static, lifeless kiss between the pair- and it comes as no surprise to find out Margo was seeing some one on the side.
             Tony is disturbed by the affair, but not for emotional reason; indeed he seems to be creature almost utterly devoid of emotion. He is more concerned with the prospect that his wife would leave him penniless, so plot her murder in inherit her fortune. He blithely sends Margo out for the evening with her lover, he then invites Swann to his
