MAKING PEACE: FACING RACISM This movie proves how many Americans know little about the people they are sitting next too. The internal struggles everyone faces is not necessarily based on color, but of their cultural and ethnic background. For example, the Jewish man was very distraught about the holocaust. But he totally disregarded the fact that another man came to him to explain his feelings. Instead of taking in what the African American man had to say, he exploded with his own internal conflicts. This did not resolve any problems. The entire group was very uptight and afraid to say what was truly going on inside.
