Y Tu Mama Tambien Y Tu Mama Tambien I personally don’t really enjoy Y Tu Mama Tambien. The only way you can enjoy it is if you’re very familiar with Mexican history. For any one else, they would just think of this movie as you stereotypical just graduated form high school road trip. The only way you can understand the movie for the ways the writer intended is if you pay very close attention to the narrator and all the things he hints to. For example, how the narrator tells the story of how the man was hit by the bus and it seems as if that sequence is just tossed into the movie and has nothing to do with the plot and also the time the narrator tells the story of Tenoch’s nanny who he called his mother until he was four, but in actuality there is meaning behind it and your average viewer probably doesn’t even realize this.
