TV Violence Almost every child in the world has watch television or seen a movie. Whether it is news or cartoons television is a part of today\'s culture. However, does television cause children to behave violently' Is it television’s responsibility to guard and clarify to children what is right and wrong' Should children be shielded and never exposed to violence' Television is not the cause of violent behavior and is not responsible for children behavior. Violence is a part of culture and for society to shield a child is to weaken the knowledge of the world’s past and present. History shows us that television is not the cause of violence. The invention of the television has only been present in history for a little over a century (The History). Violence has been a continual phenomenon throughout the history of humankind (Alperovitz). There has yet to be a generation that escaped experiencing violence (Alperovitz). The world has over 2000 years of wars, murders and fighting before television was present. Therefore television is not the cause of violence, greed, hatred, jealously and so many other things are what causes violence.
