Animal Farm Let me start by saying that the movie Animal Farm was far from what I had expected it to be. Early on in the movie, it suggests to its viewers that the animals are neglected mistreated and tired of taking it. The Major (head pig in the beginning) had a dream about a society where everyone human and animal could, in a sense, co-exist without one having control over the other, especially when the controlling party is denying the controlled the most basic rights, like food, shelter, and water. After he shared his vision of what he desired for the future the other animals agreed. The vision they now craved was far from what they received. It is my assumption that the animals wanted a democracy; however they were forced into a communist rule. Under this tyranny the animals were persuaded to do what “the pigs” (ruler) wanted done as well as how and when. The movie was done in a very entertaining way but the focus behind it was very much real for the communist countries that ruled in this manner. The U.S. was founded because the colonists wanted a democratic society where the people animal, farm, animals, people, movie, democracy, americans, wanted, vote, very, peace, lives, far, whether, way, vision, things, society, saying, ruled, question, option, number, must, much, make, life, know, just, even, done, control, communist, believe, been, against
