Roman Empire What are the similarities between the reasons for the fall of the Roman Empires and the United States of America The similar reasons of the fall of the Roman Empire and the United States are so historically exact in certain ways. There are three distinct ways, Political, Social, and Economically, which are potential causes for down falls of large empires. The reasons are distinct but are progressed more as the times change. The political similarities between the Roman Empire and the U.S. Empire are somewhat alike. To start of both empires start of as a republic, Rome was just a city and the U.S. was 13 small colonies. Then the two republics grew and got to large to manage. Money then ran the government officials, which had their decisions bought and jaded by money and bribes and not rational and for the people. Both empires had similar social groups also. Atfirst both places provided for the republic, Romans who help the community before they worried about their self and then the U.S with their 13 colonies provided for their selves by growing crops just for the group of people.
