Gump is a typical America conservative and obtains the success in his career and life by means of his optimistic and placid mentality and his tough and struggling spirits. This not only highlights the rareness of unsophisticated, optimistic, tough and persistent spirits but also reconfirms the traditional Americanism.

Jenny’s presentation on pursuit of freedom further illustrates the American radicals’ pursuit of rebellious spirit and freedom.
