The Internet continues to impact and structure traditional democratic values and political order, as well as bring to the socialist democratic politics greatly uncertainty (Xiong, 2011). Faced with this impact and challenge, it must strengthen research on cyber democracy and actively promote the building of cyber democracy to avoid negative effects. In addition, current China is in an important period of promoting the construction of socialist democratic politics, the positive impact that the Internet brings socialist democracy has been demonstrated. However, without institutionalized assurance for effective civil expression and social consultation, ordinary citizens have no capital, no rights, but the network (Dong, 2012). Therefore, perfect network expression platform and cyber democracy are particularly important. From the empirical view, the application of new information technologies to cyber democracy formed by democratic process is the inevitable trend of future development of democracy (Xiong, 2011). This study will put forward concrete measures and proposals for development of cyber democracy.

Research objective

The main objective of this study is to examine whether cyber democracy could bring the booming of the Chinese democracy politics, in doing

so, the study will seek,

. To investigate whether the network really brings democracy to China's politics;

. To see how it changes people's awareness of democracy and accelerate the government’s democratic work processes;

. To ascertain the limitations of cyber democracy, which is in line with the perspectives of structure and functions;

. To compare differences between cyber democracy in the West and China to find their similarities;

. To come up with thinking, strategies and outlook for cyber democracy
