To sum up, this content analysis assignment has three main sections. First of all, the purposes of the study are indicated at the first part. And we can learn the study methods and the problematic points which appeared in the previous studies, including the study of the relationship of codes. The finding illustrated the feature of the report on crime; such like the reports usually focus the crime action itself or the relationship between crime commitment and the social phenomena. Moreover, in the next section, we analysed the samples and codes which we tested and collected randomly. Considering the scale limited and the feature of the three newspapers, we analysed the codes separately firstly, and then compare three newspapers. The findings were showed that the style and the way of reporting on crime are related to the features of newspaper. Different newspapers have different ways to cover the news. Especially the different way between the quality newspapers and the tabloids newspapers, even the two quality newspapers has the different on crime emphasising. For instance, the quality newspaper is more likely to emphasis the crime action and society and the comments on the crime.
