Since it was the first time for us to spend this special day and she ever told me that she wished to get a nice present. In my mind, I had also wanted to show my love to her in this day by a gift. However, when it was near to Feb.14th, lost of works in my hand baffled me completely, resulting I forgot to prepare a present for her until the morning of that day. When I was on the road to date with her, I just remembered that the issue of gift. So in my mind, I thought it could be made up by a big meal or a happy shipping to buy something instead.
However, bad things went. When we had delicious food at the restaurant, she was happy to eat with me and I wrongly thought this method can be useful. However, after we spent two hours enjoying the meal, her face changed and would not to talk to me. Happened to this situation, I immediately explained to her and expressed my regret and sorry to her. But she still would not to say any words with me.
In the coming several days, she never phoned me and answered my phone, even answered the SMS from me until I waited on her road back dormitory. She was happy to tell me that “Big baby, I really want to pressure off you!!”She forgave me after I brought the sorry and regrets again and again companying the late present.
From this, I learn the difference between the boys and girls for the Valentine’s Day and the gift. For my girl, she is sentimental, romantic, and prone to compare with other girls. She pays much attention to her feeling and the evaluation from other people. So spending the special day with her love people is the happiest thing during that entire month. For the gift, whether it is expensive or not is not important, but the feeling when she gets it and the comment and the attention after she takes it as photo and sends these photos to the internet is very enjoyable. However, after this special day, she would forget that unhappy things as my express my regret and sorry for my mistakes because she love me in her heart.
In contrast, for me the works and the value of the gift seem more important than the so-called feeling. I think the missed special day can be made up on the other days and the gift can be bought on the next day of Valentine’s Day. At some time, I even don’t know the reasons why she did not care me. And what I know about her is just unhappy. Perhaps, it is the thinking pattern and communication difference.
Knowing the communication difference between girls and boys is of significant for the lovers who are in love and have little experience about each other.
