Abstract
What is love? It does not have smells, colors, and you can never see it, but you can feel it. It is something that you can only picture with your heart, it is something beautiful but hurt. Language has the power of magic, it can show you the extraordinary life with barely some simple words. This is the power of language, through the description of the experience, the feelings and the tiny details of life, you can feel the deep love. This is the power of language, with which people can squeeze the whole world into the humble book. In this book, three kinds of love, namely the love for friends, the love for lover, the love for son, are listed as evidences to prove that love is sufficient enough to describe the love one feels for another.

1. Introduction
This book is kind of like a total mess, different characters, different scenes, and different lifestyles all flush in, full of the book. It is just like a time travel, or like a movie that you just watched, everything is so clear but far away. You feel like that you know them, you know all for a life time, but they are just characters of the book. So this is the power of language, without colorful light, without voice, but you can feel the world. Language is absolutely sufficient to describe the love one feels for another. Because words are powerful with something like magic. Through the description of tiny details of life, you can feel the love, almost everywhere in this book.
2. Three kinds of love in this book

2.1. The love for friend
The start of the book describes an old man’s life. The atmosphere seems full of sorrow and sadness. A story of an old man named Leo and his old friend Bruno. Everything happening in their life seems trivial but never unimpressive, which reflects the forever friendship they have. There is a paragraph of description of their friendship. “We never spoke of it after that just as we never spoke of out childhoods, of the dreams we shared and lost, of everything that happened and didn’t happen. Once we were sitting together, suddenly one of us began to laugh, giggle and the next thing we were rocking in our laughter, tears streaming down out cheeks” Maybe it seems hilarious and mad, maybe it doesn’t make any sense, but it is true. This is the life of two lonely old men, they have nothing, and they don’t even have enough time for life. Every minute is possible to be the last minute. They live and struggle with the company of another. Their life if boring but never pathetic for there is friendship, there is warmness in the cold world, there is light for life.

2.2. The love for lover
“They stood for a long time in silence as he stared at the picture. At last he managed three words, come with me. The sound of children shouting came from the street below. She squeezed her eyes shut, come with me, he said, holding out his hand. Tears rolled down her face. Three times he asked her, she shook her head, I can’t, she said. She looked down at the floor, please, she said. And so he did the hardest thing he’d ever done in his life, he picked up his hat and walked away.” The girl is the only reason of being alive of the young man, who struggled to survive from Nazis, who spent most of time in woods to hide. She is the only reason that he loves. He loves, he hold on to this beautiful feeling and he sacrifice the whole world. The memory is as light as a dream, as a wind, it doesn’t kook like too much but it do hurt. The dreamlike childhood, the love where once he lost himself, everything is so near just like yesterday but it can never be yesterday. The memory is beautiful, but the more beautiful, the more hurts. You can never come back. Memory is just like something in fairy tale, the more real, the more sentimental. No matter how beautiful is the past, he lost her. No matter how beautiful is the dream, he has to wake.

2.3. The love for son
The lonely old man, the biggest fan of his son, Leo, spent every minute watching his son, however, he never have the opportunity to talk to his son and he can never let his son know any of this. Everything was a sad secret, everything had to move on silently. However, he was content with all of this, what else could he ask for? God is generous, isn’t it? At least, he thought so.

There was one day, the death of his son struck him to mad, to totally lose control. “The air felt different in my lungs. The world no longer the same. You change and then you change again. You become a dog, a bird, a plant that leans always in the left, only now that my son was gone, did I realize how much I’d been living for him” From the very moment, his life changed, the only happiness of his life gone with the death of his son. He love his son. He love him more than anything in this world.

3. Conclusion
Full of this book is about sorrowful life, the more you read, the more heavy you feel. This is a book about love, a heavy love. You can feel the faithful friendship between two lonely old men, you can feel the lifelong sadness, the moment he can’t get his girl and you can feel the silent love a father to his son. In this book, language is definitely sufficient enough to describe the love one feels for another.
