Sancta Sophia

Sancta Sophia is a Byzatine architecture with a magnificent out-looking, it is also a witness of time with about 1,500 years history. It was orignally established for religious purpose, but now it is oponed to tourists as a history museum. This two categories of identity are the points which matter to me. Sancta Sophia was built by Constantinus I Magnus, and at that time it was used to consecrate the Christian Greek Orthodox, but after 1453, it was rebuilt to a Islam Masjid. I believe it in long time that anything establish on the basis of religion, will last longer than anyone could imagine. Because when people working on it, the raw materila is not only tiles and cement but also their faith. Santca Sophia is a testimony of history. It experienced the rise of the Christian, the complement of the Codex Justinianus, the decline of the Roman Empire, and the upsurge of the Orroman Empire, nevertheless it just preserced the momery and the fragment of the history without any judgement or comment. That is the part of hisotyry's charm—the later generation could sympathize, regret, applaud or eulogize, but history itself just.
