关于人力资源管理的重要性
1. The first issue in the movie is fairness of the education. The difference of education resource is always existed, and the American method of allocating the education resource depends on luck and money. For those who didn't get the good education resources, opportunities are lost. The second issue is what to learn? The movie shows the children’s longing for universities, and their poor academic performances especially in math and reading. But sometimes good grades seem to be accessories. When the children enjoy learning, develop the “never give up” belief, adapt in the cooperation atmosphere, be confident and have a healthy body... Then they naturally will have good grades. Standardized tests, in my opinion, have an unreasonable issue that it may not conform to the laws of students' learning. Differences exist in children’s beginning time of understanding and learning. Test can be used as a reference for feedback, but it doesn't fit for judging basis, especially for children at an early age. In the movie, there is a school which does not track students' grades as they believe every child has the right to get a high level of education. Maybe this is a big reason for their success. The third issue is how to teach? No matter what kind of education theory applied, the teacher’s practice really matters. A good teacher should have a good character, the enthusiasm to teach, proficient teaching skills, and abundant knowledge. From this point, administrative power can be useful. Ms Rhee, the special administrative officer in DC, has brought a sense of crisis to school teachers. If there is a superman in this world, it is probably yourself. It is the student, the passionate teacher, the leader who has great ideas in education reform.
2. This class has made me recognize the importance of human resource management, as people is the most valuable resources within an organization; HRM sets the stone for the future success of the company. It is a continuing process in which human resources planning, recruitment and allocation, training and development, performance management, compensation management, labor relationships management are combined together and totally contribute to the maximization of organizational benefit. Good human resource management can be of effective use for the organization to meet the inside and outside needs for current and future development, and it plays a vital role in optimizing organizational performance. After realizing this, enlightenment is that the most worthy investment one can control is to invest in oneself, as added value in human capital is the fundamental and continuing source for growth. Human resource management is a very contextual activity, as it involves the implementation of practices and tools that are sensitive to environment. HRM practices can be valuable in company performance; leaders should also be aware of this concept and choose the proper way to deal with human resources when running a superior business. No matter what kind of HRM practices applied, whether strong, ethical and coherent, employee development should be focused on and managers should pay attention to the culture and relationships within the organization. Decisions given by management should be implemented by employees without slack, which means authority should be clear; all employees should be respected and have achieved their self-esteem value; the whole organization should be coherently operated, only by achieving this balance can the organization be successful.
