It would be virtually impossibly for an author to characterize every revolutionary one by one. For this he uses, the bloodthirsty Vengeance portray to the general spirit, opinions, and ideas of the French revolutionaries. When the bloodthirsty monarchs and nobles are overthrown, they are immediately replaced by the revolutionaries who are just as vicious. The power is turned over to the patriot civilians and tyranny is seen almost instantly when the nobles are beheaded one after another everyday. The character called The Vengeance, representing the revolutionaries , demonstrates how when the power is turned from the upper class to the lower, revenge reigns.
