My Kinsman Major Molinuex My Kinsman Major Molinuex starts off with a young sheltered boy by the name of Robin going on a journey to the city, but more so by force rather than by will. He is searching for his kinsman, the Major. While looking for his kinsman he assumes that his kinsman would live in a good part of town and be well known, respected, and admired. He finds that some of the nicer places he visits are perhaps less than cordial, a symbol that wealth and prestige are not indicators of truth and honor. In his search also he encounters many different people than what he is used to in the country, the people are rude and uncooperative. City life is much different than the country lifestyle, and our young friend soon learns this and much more of lives little lessons. This is a story about life and how it is always changing and is unpredictable. No one can tell what kind of life they will live or have.
