Great love story

在回家的路上，巴黎遇到了河神的女儿，俄诺涅。她唱着动听的歌，在河边玩着可爱的鱼。当看到这一幕，巴黎被俄诺涅的美貌惊呆了。然后他就站在那里，不愿意离开。当俄诺涅看到巴黎的密切注视，她非常害羞，想离开。但巴黎的英俊外表也吸引了她。因此，她自发地保持原样。然后，他们坐在河边，谈论无关的话，直到夜幕降临。接下来的几天，他们会每天坐在这条河边。巴黎逐渐发现他们有许多共同之处，与俄诺涅在一起的时间很愉快。他对她的爱越来越多。

Quickly after his birth, the flamen has firmly believed that Paris would bring destructive destiny to Troy. Thus Paris is exiled to Mount Ida and adopted by the local shepherd for many years. Along with the increase of the age, Paris gradually shows his outstanding appearance which is very handsome and attractive. Thanks to his growing experience in the mountain, Paris is very pure and sincere. Later, because of orders from his king father, Paris sets out to Greece. When in Sparta, what he hears most is the fabulous beauty of Helen, the queen of Menelaus. The local people tell Paris that the beauty of Helen is unparalleled. It could be described that her figure is tall and skin is snow-white. Besides, her eyes are big and passionate etc. Those words have deeply appealed to Paris so that he is eager to see real Helen. Then after several days, while waiting for the meet of Menelaus, he unintentionally sees the Helen’s passing-by. At that moment, Paris is totally shocked and then he thinks that what a excellent thing it is to own Helen. But Paris knows that the possibility is very small and this would be just a dream. Next, due to several reasons, Paris leaves Sparta for Troy.      

On the way home, Paris comes across Achelous’s daughter, Oenone. She is singing beautiful songs and playing with lovely fish by the river. As seeing this scene, Paris is astonished at Oenone’s beautiful appearance. Then he just stands there and is unwilling to leave. When Oenone sees the close stare of Paris, she becomes very shy and wants to leave. But Paris’s handsome appearance also attracts her. Thus she spontaneously stays as well. Then they sit by the river together and talk about the irrelevant words until night falls. The next days, Paris and Oenone agree that they would meet at this river every day. Gradually Paris finds that they have many things in common and the time with Oenone is very cheerful. His love towards her grows more and more. And so it is with Oenone. Based on it, he decides to marry Oenone. As for Paris, Mount Ida is his real hometown and he has deep feeling towards it. Hence Paris comes back to Mount Ida with Oenone. Here they live a simple and artless life. But what they feel in the heart is very sweet and content. Oenone often leans on Paris and Paris would play some mellifluous pieces of songs for her. One year later, their dear baby Irene comes to the world. Both of them are very fond of Irene and meanwhile take good care of their little baby. 

Suddenly one day, three goddesses, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, come to Mount Ida and ask Paris to judge which of them is the most beautiful goddess so that one of them could get the golden apple. When Paris hears their purpose of coming, it is very difficult for him to make decisions. This is because all of them have their own unique features. In order to obtain Paris’s favor, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite respectively offer their attractive conditions. Hera promises to give Paris the supreme power so that he could be the dominator. Athena would like to give him wisdom and strength so that he could rush out a heroic and glorious way. Aphrodite agrees that she could let Helen, the most beautiful woman of the world, fall in love with him and be his wife. When hearing Aphrodite’s words, Paris can’t help thinking of his dream in Sparta. This time, it seems that this dream would come true and Helen would belong to him. However, at this moment, the cry of the little baby Irene is rising, which reminds him of the intimate time with Oenone. It is Oenone who accompanies him along the way. The existence of Helen is just the image of his heart and he even seldom knows her habits. Besides she has owned happy affiliation. As a result, based on those considerations, Paris directly and firmly refuses all of their conditions offered and tell them he can’t make choices for them since they each have incomparable beauty. As for him, what he just wants is to live quietly and happily with Oenone and Irene in Mount Ida forever.
