Female nude is regarded as a sex symbol

I agree with you that women’s bodies are regarded as sex symbols in many ways. Nude bodies usually suggest sex. When the titles such as “ Jennifer Lawrence Nude Photos Leaked
” appear in front of the public, I believe most viewers would be attracted by “nude”. Many people, especially males would want to take a look at those nude pictures. Nude photos are also one of the most important forms of pornography. I think the ideological representation of women bodies can be better illustrated if we explain beyond the news itself. For example, Pornos include many more women’s nude bodies than men’s. What’s more, women in many videos or ads are often portrayed as seductresses, which would arouse men’s sexual interest. 

When you refer to “instant scandal” as “sex crime”, I don’t think it’s a right way to put it. I think it can be called as sex crime or sex offender when the nude pictures are taken form illegal sexual behavior. Watching leaked nude photos is far from being called as sex crime. The act may be proper to referred as “immoral”. And the real criminal is the hacker, who has severely violated the stars’ privacy.

I don’t agree with your point that a naked woman’s body is a comfortable image. As far as I myself am concerned, a beautiful nude would be appealing to look at, but that also depends on different situations. I believe we cannot find a naked picture comfortable whenever we see it. To me, nude bodies are more of art or just serve the purpose of seduction.
